please enlighten me on second couplet. (I don't know if "couplet" is a right word here and if it is not then, Please excuse my ignorance and please tell me correct word.)
Tishna means thirsty. Hence the poet is saying that the even the sea does not approve of the wave which quenches the thirst of sand on the shore. Think of it like a government officer wanting to do good for the poor people, but the government does not let him :). Couplet can be used for any poetry that has two lines like Doha or sher. so your word is correct.
