शायर कवियों की हुई, काव्य कल्पना रॉंग
काव्य कल्पना रॉंग, सुधाकर हमने जाने
(ऐसा माना जाता था कि चान्द पर देवता अपनी सुधा भर के रखते थे, इसीलिये उसे सुधाकर भी कहा जाता था)
कंकड पत्थर मिले, दूर के ढोल सुहाने

shaayar kaviyo.n kee huyee, kaavya kalpana wrong
kaavya kalpana wrong, sudhaakar hamane jaane
kankaR patthar mile, door ke Dhol suhaane

set their foot on the moon have Aldrin and Armstrong
The poetic imagery of poets has been found to be wrong
the moon was the 'mine of nectar', or so we were told
it was full of stones and gravel, all that glitters is not gold
