charaaG sab ke bujhenge havaa kisii ki nahiin

मैं आज ज़द पे अगर हूँ तो ख़ुश गुमान न हो 

चराग़ सब के बुझेंगे हवा किसी की नहीं 

Don't nurse fanciful notions because I am the target today

All lights will eventually be put out, the wind is truly hostile

is zindagi mein itnii faraaGat kise nasiib

itnaa na yaad aa ke tujhe bhuul jaayen ham 

इस ज़िन्दगी में इतनी फ़राग़त किसे नसीब 

इतना न याद आ कि तुझे भूल जाएँ हम 

Who has so much free time in this life, who is so fortunate.  

If your memories torment me, I will be forced to forget you.

सुना है बोले तो बातों से फूल झड़ते हैं

ये बात है तो चलो बात करके देखते हैं

sunaa hai bole to baato.n se phool jhaRte hai.n
ye baat hai to chalo baat karke dekhate hai.n

I have heard  flowers spout from her mouth when she speaks
If that is indeed true, let me also talk to her and see.

aab-e-zam-zam dost laae hai.n abas 
ham jo piite hai.n voh paani aur hai 


aab e zam zam is considered to be miraculously generated water or sacred water. Hence,


My friends have needlessly brought me sacred water 
I happen to drink an altogether different kind of water
